A few impulse buys from today when I was just supposed to be meeting my friend for lunch in between revision. Been trying to steer clear of black for the summer and found these few items for quite a fair price. Haven't tried any of it on yet so fingers crossed.

one week manicure

After biting my nails for years i've been desperately trying to keep them strong. I gave up on the idea of having claws so just got into nail art instead to compensate. After trying OPI's nail strengthener and cuticle oil i have really noticed a difference, however I can never seem to get my nail polish to last. I use glitter quite a lot as it lasts forever so decided to use it on the ends of my nails to prevent them from chipping.

Above are pictures of when i first did my nails and 7 days later. I re-applied nail strengthener once and used the cuticle oil a lot. As you can see it lasted forever, I only had to take it off as two of my nails broke. 

To do I started my applying nail strengthener to a clean nail, applied the pink base, applied the glitter tips by blotting, then applied blue dots straight from the brush, I then finally drew on the leopard print, deliberately not being to neat. After a few days I added strengthener and then left. Will definately be doing again!

didn't go to wild with the loan spending this year, just got myself some basics in preparation for the summer and a holiday. I love the nail polish, am wearing nude beige in the ring photographs, and whats good is its hard to notice any smudges because it's so near to my skin colour. My fav item is the black asos midi dress because of its high, slight racer front neck and it is perfect for day and night wear and really comfy.

Been looking for some boot wedges for literally ages and never thought to look on ebay. Despite being kind of cheap looking and having silver fake zips which I bought a any surface marker to draw over, their a perfect height and length.

This morning I went to two car boot sales in brighton. Hadn't been for years and the brighton marathon was on today making it difficult to get there so didn't no what to expect. In the past i've got some really good clothes from the one at the marina but there wasn't anything that caught my eye at either today, however if you're looking for cheap vintage dresses and coats then there are plenty.

Made friends with an old man on the bus who told me both weren't as busy as usual yet I still managed to come home with this lot all for £21. Most of it is from the boot sale at the race course but normally the marina is really good, would recommend going to both. The bag was amongst some other low profile designers just got it for a weekend bag as i'm not too fond on it but just couldn't resist.

d.i.y denim

Avoiding revision by finding ways to customise clothes and experimenting with nail ideas.
For my ombre leopard nails I used old faithful models own - peach sherbet with gold finger, for the spots I used models own pro - yas mint and the models own nail pen for the leopard print.
Thought i'd spruce up my old denim jacket with a few studs, took over an hour but i'm very happy with the results. I got 100 studs from ebay for £11.98 and the jacket I also got off ebay a few years ago
